Since its inception, WUCWO has been committed to respecting the dignity and fundamental rights of the person\u2014especially of women\u2014to the promotion and defence of life and the family, to ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and to respect for cultural diversity.<\/p>\n

In 2007, WUCWO was recognised by the Holy See as a Public International Association of the Faithful, and therefore its presence and voice reflect communion with the Church and its Magisterium.<\/p>\n

With status and representation before the UN (ECOSOC, Human Rights Council FAO and UNESCO) and the Council of Europe it represents and defines, in the international context, the values it promotes.<\/span><\/div>\n

In 2021, it created the World Women’s Observatory (WWO) to give visibility to the most vulnerable women and contribute to foster their integral development.<\/p>\n
