It is a worldwide celebration of prayer, reflection and action in support of our common home. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hope is not passive; it is lived and shared through our daily decisions, community life, prayer, and concrete actions to care for our common home.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At WUCWO, we would like to invite you to use this <strong>Ecological Examen<\/strong>, a reflection tool inspired by Pope Francis\u2019 call in <em>Laudato Si<\/em>\u2019, to care for creation and reconcile our relationship with God, with creation, and with one another. It can be used as a personal prayer or during meetings and community gatherings. We also encourage you to share this tool with others.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ecological Examen<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I give thanks to God for creation and for being wonderfully made.<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Where did I feel God\u2019s presence in creation today?<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I ask for the grace to see creation as God does \u2013 in all its splendor and suffering.<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Do I see the beauty of creation and hear the cries of the earth and the poor?<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I ask for the grace to look closely to see how my life choices impact creation and the poor and vulnerable.<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>What challenges or joys do I experience as I recall my care for creation? How can I turn away from a throwaway culture and instead stand in solidarity with creation and the poor? <\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I ask for the grace of conversion towards ecological justice and reconciliation. <\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Where have I fallen short in caring for creation and my brothers and sisters? How do I ask for a conversion of heart? <\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I ask for the grace to reconcile my relationship with God, creation and humanity, and to stand in solidarity through my actions. <\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>How can I repair my relationship with creation and make choices consistent with my desire for reconciliation with creation?<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I repair my relationship with creation and make choices consistent with my desire for reconciliation with creation?<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WUCWO Planting Hope<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the WUCWO Ecology Working Group, we continue to promote the <strong>\u201cWUCWO Planting Hope\u201d<\/strong> campaign. We still have time to make a great impact before our<strong> next General Assembly<\/strong>.
