We thank the Lord and Pope Francis that one more woman is valued and recognised, allowing her to put her gifts and charisms at the service of the Church, together with the other members of the People of God. From now on, we accompany her with our prayers.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sister Simona Brambilla, the first prefect of the Vatican, counts on her CV her missionary experience in Mozambique after obtaining a professional diploma in nursing and joining the Institute of the Consolata Missionary Sisters, which she directed from 2011 until 2023. On 8 July 2019, the Pope appointed for the first time seven women members of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
