The Italian magazine Segno nel Mondo, a publication of Azione Cattolica Italiana distributed with the newspaper Avvenire, has dedicated an article to our organisation, WUCWO, highlighting the work of so many people who are part of this union.

The article presents WUCWO as an international network that brings together more than one hundred organisations in over fifty countries, committed to promoting the dignity of women, their active participation in the Church and in society, and to addressing together the great challenges of the contemporary world.

It mentions WUCWO’s main areas of commitment—defending dignity and human rights, supporting migrants and refugees, ecological conversion, combating the food crisis, formation, and synodality—and highlights the work of the World Women’s Observatory (WWO) as an instrument to listen to the voices of the most vulnerable women and to transform that testimony into concrete actions and just public policies.

The article also emphasises the School of Synodality, as well as WUCWO’s communication efforts to reach new generations through its website and multilingual digital media.
