Synodality, formation
and women’s participation
Walking together to build the Church
The Church calls us to live in a synodal way: walking together, listening to one another, discerning and acting in communion. At WUCWO, we take up this call by accompanying the spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation of women, so that they can participate actively, together with the other members of the People of God, in all areas of ecclesial and social life.
We have founded the WUCWO School of Synodality, where we train facilitators of synodal processes and promote the practice of Conversations in the Spirit as a method of community discernment. We also collaborate with other schools and ecclesial institutions to strengthen these formation spaces.
We promote women’s leadership from a young age, encouraging women to take on responsibilities in the Church, politics, culture and society, always in pursuit of the common good and in fidelity to the Gospel.
