The 2022 National Annual Meeting of the Catholic Women's League Philippines was held at the Archdiocese of Palo in Tacloban City last May 27 to 29, 2022. 

 

About 800 CWL participants came from all over the Philippines and had an enthusiastic and enjoyable time meeting each other and reviewing the accomplishments for the past year in spite of the pandemic and other disasters that afflicted them.

 

Their spiritual upliftment was enhanced by the daily homilies and guidance of their Holy Mass Presiders led by His Excellency John Du, Archbishop of Palo. They also gave updates on their trust HOPE, with ratification of all of the actions by the general membership as required by their laws on private organisations. Likewise, some amendments in the CWL constitution and by laws to meet with the times were also approved. 

 

In the video below you can see how huge was the group during this event and how ecstatic all the people were to meet physically again after a long period of lockdowns due to pandemic protocols. All the participants had so much fun during the socialisation time and local tours.
