International Women's Day 2024

Save the date 5 march ENG.png

On March 5, 2024 from 3 pm to 4.30 pm (CET) in occasion of the International Women’s Day, you are invited to participate at online conference “Women Sowing Seeds of Peace and Cultivating Encounter.”

This  event, organised by the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO) in collaboration with the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue and with the sponsorship of some Embassies to the Holy See, aims to reflect and react as women and men of faith to the culture of peace and encounter.

As Pope Francis reminds us “our greatest and yet most fragile treasure is our shared humanity as brothers and sisters, children of God. And that none of us can be saved alone” (Message for the 56th World Day of Peace 2023).

The event will start with the opening remarks of Card. Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, MCCJ - Prefect of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue (DID), and Mónica Santamarina - President General of the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO)
