The Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life invited María Lía Zervino, as president of WUCWO, to participate in the event that it organises each year for Movements and associations.

This year the title was "Prevention of Sexual Abuse: The Commitment of Ecclesial Associations and Movements." This theme, which was extensively addressed, is an issue of deep concern to the Holy Father. Also, WUCWO has already made it one of its priorities.
