Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture, has appointed the President of WUCWO as a member of the Women's Consultation Group.

María Lía Zervino participated in the recent session and then met with the current President of the Consultation, Prof. Consuelo Corradi, to deepen WUCWO's contributions, such as advocacy at the CSW in New York, violence against women, surrogacy, women in the Church and society, etc.
