Dear friends,

at this very special time, the WUCWO Executive Committee and I would like to propose a ROSARY to be prayed ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH, which will keep us particularly united in prayer as WUCWO women during this pandemic.

As for praying the rosary, let me recall something that the Holy See made public on 20 March 2020.

All the faithful will be able to obtain a plenary indulgence, provided that they offer for the following intentions:

- the end of the epidemic,

- the relief of the sick and

- the eternal salvation of the dead

• the visit to the Blessed Sacrament, Eucharistic Adoration, the reading of Sacred Scripture for at least half an hour, the prayer of the Rosary, the Way of the Cross, or the prayer of the chaplet of the Divine Mercy,

• the sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion “with the desire to fulfill the usual conditions as soon as possible,” and the prayer for the Holy Father's intentions.

The fruitfulness that this Marian prayer can give us is marvellous, if the 8 million women of WUCWO pray together and in harmony with the whole Church.

Please, disseminate this proposal to all the members of your organisation.
